The Design Process
Most projects will commence in a very different form to the website which is eventually published.
At the outset, the client would be
presented with a brief summary of our ideas regarding the layout and colours of the site by
means of a series of graphics. These form the basis upon which
the design process will proceed, in consultation with the client, until the overall look of the site is
agreed.
Once the design is finalised, the different pages required to
achieve it are created.
The example below illustrates the design process for a website for Eleven Didsbury Park - a
contemporary townhouse hotel. The top row of graphics are different "looks" for the site. The bottom row shows examples of the final agreed design, including different pages, such as the home page, a page illustrating the hotel, and text descriptions.
